The brief was to create an experimental book based on the term “minute”. The book follows the theme of time and how much rubbish the UK throws away every minute. The pages consist of photographs, statistics and is made up of a variety of materials which end up in landfill each day.
To make the pages for the book I collected all the wrappers and bits of paper that I would have usually have thrown away. There are crisp and sweet wrappers, pages from magazines, a piece of cardigan, envelopes, a plastic wallet, wrapping paper, cardboard and even a piece of umbrella canopy.
