November saw the launch of my Leicestershire Fire and Rescue campaign. The campaign will be promoted using materials designed by myself and another graduate from De Montfort University. The launch event for the campaign was held at a coffee morning in Oadby, the aim being to raise awareness of vulnerable members of the community. The campaign seemed to have a great reception and a few compliments were thrown our way, which was brilliant. Since the event I have been told that the calendars that feature my photographs have been so popular that another 2,500 have been ordered.

The last six weeks
So the last six weeks or so have been pretty exciting. First of all I have been doing some work experience at a design agency called Origination. While I have been here I have been involved in all sorts of projects, ranging from logos, annual reports, Christmas posters and graphics for a 60 metre wall of hoarding at East Midlands Airport, just to name a few of them. The people here are great and I have learnt loads of things that they just don't teach you at University.

November also saw the opening on the 'Minute' experimental book exhibition at Northampton University. Hundreds of books from around the world were submitted. Some of the books coming from as far a field as, Russia, Germany, Spain, India, Australia, Croatia, Canada, Sweden and the USA. From the hundreds of books submitted only 35 artists were chosen to have their work feature in the month long exhibition, and I was one of them. Accompanying the exhibition was a catalog featuring all 35 artists and their work.
